Celebrating Three Years of Open Access at The Met

Three years after the launch of Open Access, which made The Met’s collection freely available online, the API was serving over 3 million requests a month. The post looks at how artists, researchers, and developers used the data, and at the Met’s plans to improve it and connect it to more resources.
